2. Juan Roman Riquelme (42 years old)
Juan Roman Riquelme (born 24th June 1978) is a retired Argentine professional footballer and current 2nd vice-president of Argentine Club Atlético Boca Juniors.
Considered one of the best playmakers in his prime and last great ‘classic number ten‘ in football, Riquelme was named the Argentine Footballer of the Year 4 times. He led his country as captain to win a Gold medal at the 2008 Olympics. He is a legend at Boca Juniors and Spanish club Villareal.
3. Shunsuke Nakamura (42 years old)
Shunsuke Nakamura (born 24th June 1978) is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Yokohama FC in J1 League.
He is the only person to have been named J.League Most Valuable Player more than once, receiving the award in 2000 and 2013.
He is well known for his free kick-taking abilities. Considered as one of the best Asian players of all-time, he is named Japanese Footballer of The Year twice and, MVP of AFC Asian Cup once. He is a legend at Yokohama F. Marinos and Scottish club Celtic. Asteroid 29986 Shunsuke is also named in his honour.
4. Luis Garcia (42 years old)
Luis Javier Garcia Sanz (born 24th June 1978) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a left-winger.
He was brought in through Barcelona’s youth ranks and played for various clubs in his career, including English club Liverpool, whom he helped to win UEFA Champions League. He was also the captain of Atletico de Kolkata in Indian Super League and helped his team to win the inaugural edition.
5. David Alaba (28 years old)
David Olatukunbo Alaba (born 24th June 1992) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays for German club Bayern Munich and the Austria national team.
Alaba has made over 350 appearances for Bayern Munich, winning 18 honours including 9 Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2013. He was voted Austrian Footballer of the Year 6 consecutive times from 2011 to 2015. As a very versatile player, Alaba has played in a multitude of roles, including central midfield, central defence, right and left-wing, but primarily plays as a left-back.
