Time: 7.15 GMT

Manchester United will be looking to continue their unbeaten run when they travel to face Brighton. Solskjaer’s side are unbeaten in 14 games across all competitions but know they will need to be at their best to beat this in form Brighton side. Let’s dig into the details in Brighton vs Manchester United Match Preview.

Team News

Brighton

The Seagulls have won both of their previous home matches against United in the Premier League. They are on their own three-match unbeaten run from matches, two draws against Wolves and Leicester and a well-deserved win over Arsenal. Graham Potter will set his side Brighton up in a flat 4-4-2 system, with a high pressing on United and attempting to force possession turnovers high up the pitch. Potter will be without long-term absentee Jose Izquierdo (knee), while Adam Webster (hamstring) is a doubt, but Tariq Lamptey is available after recovering from a facial injury.

Predicted Starting Lineup

Manchester United

After their success in the FA Cup on Saturday against Norwich, Manchester United has switched back their attention to the Premier League as they take on Brighton and Hove Albion in an important match in the race for a UEFA Champions League spot. After eight changes against Norwich on Saturday, it would be sensible to go with the team that beat Sheffield United. Only Bruno, Maguire, and Shaw had stated against the canaries.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no new injury concerns and is only missing defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones. Provided they are all fit, so the first team players like- David de Gea, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba, Mason Greenwood, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial should return. Bruno Fernandes looked tired at Norwich and has played every minute for United since their return but he is the key to United having a successful season, so it is better to start him than rest him.
