Champions League Quarter and Semi Final Draw

Semi Final 1

Winner of Quarter Final 1 vs Winner of Quarter Final 3

Semi Final 2

Winner of Quarter Final 2 vs. Winner of Quarter Final 4

Potential Big matches next round.

There are prospect of some nail biting clashes in the quarter final. First of all there is a possibility of Ronaldo facing his former club Real Madrid if they can beat Lyon in the second leg, same goes to Real who needs to overcome their deficit against Manchester City. On the other hand Messi and Barcelona’s fate is in hang as they going to face Napoli. El Classico remains a possibility in the semi final but there lies many if’s and but’s in that. Barcelona vs Bayern Munich may faceoff, high flying Bayern should qualify for the Quarter as they are leading with 3 goals against Chelsea.

Ronaldo will be clad in Black & White stripes this time

RB Leipzig will be looking to cause an upset against Atletico Madrid, who are coming from a nice victory against defending champions Liverpool that will be a great moral booster for them. PSG will be looking to thrust their way out against a tricky Atalanta BC, Gasperini will depend on the high scoring form of his team to give a mighty challenge to the French Champions.

Neymar will try to win the European title with Parisian Club

Another problem for PSG is that they are out of gaming time for a long time, as the Ligue 1 is stopped midway so coming back and playing a top game might prove to be a big challenge.

Interesting aspects

Sane and Werner are the two players who left their previous clubs to play for their new clubs, As the former City and Leipzig players might play in the same edition of the UEFA Champions League but now for their new clubs Bayern Munich and Chelsea FC. It will be tricky for Werner to qualify for the next round as he face familiar foes Munich. Sane will try to win the long eluded Champions League, with a prestigious team like Bayern Munich.

Werner will try to impress for the Blues.

Match Venue

All the matches will be played in the Stadium of Light in Lisbon. Next year the final will be played in played in Ataturk Stadium,Istanbul.
