Walter Mazzarri, Former Napoli manager

Joining PSG

Cavani joined Paris Saint Germain in season 2013/14 for about £59Million. Cavani won the French League title with PSG during his first season at the Club. Former PSG manager Laurent Blanc also told that Cavani is a brilliant player and never gives up on the pitch. He is one of the prolific goal scorers of this generation despite expressing his concerns regarding his goal drought at that time.

“It may be to the detriment of his individual performance but I think that the team and the coach are very happy. Edi is a team player, anyway. This is a boy who is judged on the goals he scores. When he scores, you say he is a very good player. I think he’s a useful boy for the collective. He has to improve in front of goal because scoring goals is part of his job.”

Laurent Blanc, Former PSG manager

What can the Uruguayan offer at Old Trafford

Manchester United is very much hopeful that Edinson Cavani will show his prolific form here and make the forward line stronger. Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is absolutely determined to make the team strong to challenge for the honors and thinks that Cavani can help him to that very much along with players like other players. A Forward (No.9) like Edinson Cavani is surely an advantage to the team he is playing for.

Manchester United has finished 4th in this season’s Premier League. They have earned an opportunity to play in the UEFA champions league. Fans can expect players like Cavani can fulfill their expectations in the next season.
