With half of the Premier League season nearly over and the table has started to take shape, Fantasy Premier League managers will now be thinking of re-building their initial Fantasy Squads. The roster of players to choose from is huge, but with the 100 million budget, you will need to make your choices carefully. Amongst the roster, there are some individuals that have proved their capabilities in the previous seasons with stellar performances. This is a list of those players, it is a good idea to have a few of these as your marquee signings as your initial FPL players in your 2020-21 squads ahead of the FPL Gameweek 14.
We are here with the Watchlist series ahead of Gameweek 14 to identify some of the players that caught the eye over the last weekend. Here are some of the players in our FPL Gameweek 14 Watchlist who are possible options to transfer into the Fantasy team over the coming game weeks.
Bruno Fernandes (Midfielder) 11.0 Million
Bruno Fernandes has scored 4 goals in the last 6 game weeks, no midfielder has scored more. He has kept the highest number of shot-on-target (total 9) and attempted assists ( total 18 ) in the last six game weeks however only De Bruyne has created more chances and assists than him. Manchester United has scored 10 goals in the last 6 game weeks which is 2nd to none and will face Leeds united who is standing on 18th on the table. Only Chelsea and Man City have created big chances than Man united’s 16 over that period of time. Leeds have conceded 9 goals over the same period with only West Brom and Sheffield United being porous with allowing opponents 34 shots on target.
Mohamed Salah (Midfielder) 12.3 million
Just by making four appearances in the last six gameweeks Salah only trails Fernandes in scoring goals among midfielders. He has provided 2 assists and only one player has more than that over that period of time. Salah has landed 5 shots-on-target and created 3 big chances in those four appearances and only Fernandes, Cavaleiro, and Sterling has more than that. Liverpool has scored 10 goals in the last 6 game weeks and no team has scored more however Chelsea and Wolves have kept more shots-on-target than theirs 28. Liverpool will face Crystal Place in the next game week, a team that has kept no clean-sheets in the last 6 games allowing 26 big chances to their opponents.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Forward) 7.9 million
Calvert-Lewin has scored 3 goals i n the last 6 game weeks and no forward has scored more than him. He has taken a total of 11 shots while keeping 7 shot-on-target only Richarlison, Benteke, and Vardy kept more. Calvert-Lewin has created 5 Big chances and only Vardy and Werner have created more in the last 6 game weeks. Everton has 26 shots-on-target only bettered by four teams Man City, Liverpool, wolves, and Chelsea. Calvert-Lewin has a projected score of 4.5 points (at an average) in the next game week. They have scored 6 goals in the last six-game weeks with only eight teams fairing better. Their next game week opponent Arsenal is a team in disarray at the moment conceding 8 goals in the last six game weeks allowing 19 shots on target and 8 big chances.
Oille Watkins (Forward) 6.1 million
Watkins has scored 2 goals over the last 6 game weeks. Only Cavani, Vardy, Kane, and Calvert-Lewin have scored more goals over that period of time. Only 6 Forwards have been afforded more big chances than his 4 and he has landed 3 shots-on-target over this time. Aston Villa has 17 shots-on-target and 10 big chances in the last six-game weeks and has 1.6 points scoring ratio over that period of time only six teams have more than that. Only Sheffield United has shipped more goals than West Brom over the six-game weeks. and no sides have allowed more chances than the Baggies.
Ben Chilwell (Defender) 6.2 million
Chilwell has assisted in game week 13 against Wolves and has attempted 7 assists in the last 6 game weeks. Only Cancelo, Cresswell, Coufal, and Robertson have created more chances than his 7 . His total of 6 shots in the box can only be bettered by Furlong and no defender has landed more shots on target than his 4 . Chelsea has conceded 5 goals in the last 6 game weeks keeping 2 cleans-sheets. Only Man City, Man Utd, Villa, Liverpool, and Spurs have conceded few goals in that period of time. Only Newcastle and Man City have restricted opponents to fewer big chances than their 4.
