We have reached almost the final weeks of the Premier League season and the table has started to take shape, Fantasy Premier League managers will now be thinking of re-building their Fantasy Squads ahead of FPL Gameweek 30 . The roster of players to choose from is huge, but with the 100 million budget, you will need to make your choices carefully. Amongst the roster, there are some individuals that have proved their capabilities in the previous seasons with stellar performances. Here is a list of players who are a good idea to have your marquee signings as your FPL players in your 2020-21 squads ahead of the FPL Gameweek 30.
We are here with the Watchlist series ahead of Gameweek 30 to identify some of the players that caught the eye over the last few game weeks. Here are some of the players in our FPL Gameweek 30 Watchlist who are possible options to transfer into the Fantasy team over the coming game weeks keeping the upcoming blank game week in mind.
Stuart Dallas (Defender) 5.1 million
Dallas has averaged 4.8 points per game at Ellen Road this season, amassing five clean sheets. He has scored three goals and bagged one assist in 14 matches. No defender can better his 1.73 xG figure at home. While only Alexander-Arnold and Harry Maguire have fired more than his 16 shots. Only Semedo has landed more than his six efforts on target. Leeds have conceded nine goals over the last six gameweeks, keeping two clean sheets. They’re ranked 15th for shots in the box. Considering the poor numbers of Sheff United, which is 11th for big chances conceeded and Sheff United’s poor attacking numbers, there are plenty of reasons for optimism against the Blades, who have scored just one goal over the last six gameweeks. Only, Palace has taken fewer shots in the box.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Forward) 7.6 million
Calvert-Lewin had ended a run of three matches without a return against Burnley in his last Premier League outing, before netting a brace for England on international duty. The 24-year old has been afforded 4 big chances in the last four gameweeks, ranking behind only Kane. Amongst forwards, just five players in his position, compared to his eight shots in the box. During that period, Everton has conceded six goals over as many gameweeks and has ranked ninth for big chances. Palace has conceded eight goals over the same period. Only six teams have conceded more. Sheff United and Wolves have allowed opponents more shots in the box than their 59.
Raphinha (Midfielder) 5.7 million
Having notched two goals in the last five gameweeks, Raphinha has averaged 4.5 points per game. No midfielder has landed more than his six efforts on target in that time. While only De Bruyne has fired more shots in total. The Brazilian has provided a league-best 21 attempted assists, with only Son creating more big chances than his five. Leeds have scored seven goals over the last six gameweeks. Only six teams have fared better than their total of 59 shots in the box, which is bettered only by Brighton and Man City . Sheff United have shipped 13 goals over the last six gameweeks. Only Southampton have been more porous at the back and only Wolves have allowed opponents more shots in the box than their 63.
Harry Kane (Forward) 11.6 million
No forward has picked up more points than Kane in the last five gameweeks with 38 points, an average of 6.3 per game. The England captain has produced a league-leading tally of 14 shots in the box and nine efforts on target, while only Iheanacho has had more big chances than his five. Only Watkins and Vardy have created more big chances than his two amongst players in his position. Spurs have scored 13 goals over the last six gameweeks, only Arsenal , Leicester and Manchester City have been more prolific. Their total of 13 big chances is only better by West Ham, Leicester City and Manchester City. Newcastle has considered 10 goals over the last six gameweeks. Only Sheff United and Southampton have shipped more. They’re ranked 13th for shots considered and 14 for big chances conceded.
Bruno Fernandes (Midfielder) 11.5 million
Bruno Fernandes has averaged 8.5 points-per-game at home during this calendar year. With four goals and three assists in the last six matches, no player has taken more shots on home turf. No midfielder has recorded a higher xG figure. He also ranks top for attempted assists, while Vardy can equal his five big chances created. Manchester United have scored seven goals over the last six gameweeks. Only six teams have managed more. Only Leeds, Leicester Brighton, Chelsea and Manchester City have landed more shots on target than their 28. Brighton has conceded six goals over the same period, keeping just two clean sheets. They’ve posted impressive defensive numbers, ranking first for shots in the box and considered second for big chances conceded.
