We have nearly reached the end of the Premier League season and the table has almost taken the shape, Fantasy Premier League managers will now be thinking of re-building their Fantasy Squads ahead of FPL Gameweek 34. The roster of players to choose from is huge, but with the 100 million budget, you will need to make your choices carefully. Amongst the roster, there are some individuals that have proved their capabilities in the previous seasons with stellar performances. Here is a list of players who are a good idea to have your marquee signings as your FPL players in your 2020-21 squads ahead of the FPL Gameweek 34.
We are here with the Watchlist series ahead of Gameweek 34 to identify some of the players that caught the eye over the last few game weeks. Here are some of the players in our FPL Gameweek 34 Watchlist who are possible options to transfer into the Fantasy team over the coming game weeks keeping an eye on the end of the season in mind.
Stuart Dallas (Defender) 5.3 million
Leeds held Manchester United to a goalless draw at Ellen Road as Stuart Dallas earned his second clean sheet in the last six games. Only Alexander Arnold has amassed more than his 34 FPL points in that time amongst defenders which is an average of 5.7 FPL points per game for the Northern Ireland international. In the same time frame, no player in his position has fired as many as his 10 shots or landed as many on target as he’s four while only Zouma and Evans have racked up more than his 0.66 expected goals figure. Leeds has shipped just four goals in this period with only three teams conceding fewer just four teams have restricted opponents to fewer than their six big chances conceded. What’s even more impressive is the fact they’ve done so while facing man United Liverpool man City and Chelsea in that six-match spell and their fixtures now start to ease up for the final stretch.
Matheus Pereira (Midfielder) 5.5 million
West Brom’s two-world role with Aston Villa so M. Pereira converts from the penalty spot for the fourth time since gameweek 19. No player has taken or scored as many penalties in that time in gameweek 33 so far. Only Bruno Fernandez, Mane, and Mount have taken more than his four shots amongst midfielders and only Salah can better his three attempted assists. During this calendar year, only Fernandez Kane and Gundogan have amassed more FPL points than the Brazilian with 100. only Lingard and Fernandez have landed more than his 18 shots on target during that period amongst midfielders while his tally of seven big chances created ranks behind only Raphinha, Son, and Fernandez. Whilst relegation still looks likely for the baggies the fact they’ve lost just one of their last four matches suggests they’ll continue to fight until the end.
Jack Harrison (Midfielder) 5.4 million
With doubts remaining over Raphinha’s fitness Jack Harrison could be an alternative option to consider amongst the Leed’s midfielders. The 24-year-old has been directly involved in four goals over the last five game weeks to average 7 points per game. despite missing a game against his parent club Man City in that time the winger has recorded a total of three big chances. only Bamford has had more amongst teammates with four. No leads player has taken as many as his 22 touches in the opposition’s box and only Dallas has landed as many as his four shots on targets. Just seven teams have scored more goals than leads during this calendar year while only Leicester, West Ham, and United can better their 38.3 percent shot accuracy. Their remaining matches see them travel to Brighton, Burnley, and Southampton before hosting West Brom in the final.
Chris Wood (Forward) 6.3 million
After the 4-0 thrashing of Wolves, Chris Wood has now been directly involved in 9 goals across his last six gameweeks. During that period, no forward can better his 14 shots on target or his 17 shots in the box while only Kane and Iheanacho can equal his 7 big chances. No player in his position has taken more than 42 touches in the opposition’s box. Burnley has scored ten goals over the last six gameweeks with only West Ham and Leicester scoring more. The Clarets are ranked 8th for shots and shots on target over this period. Their next gameweek opponent West Ham has conceded more goals than any other team in the last six gameweeks keeping no clean sheets. No team has conceded more shots while only Leeds, West Brom, and Newcastle have allowed more shots on target.
