With half of the
Premier League
season getting over, the table has started to take shape.
Fantasy Premier League
managers will now be thinking of re-building their initial Fantasy Squads ahead of FPL Gameweek 27. Amongst the roster, there are a few lesser-used players who are still bringing in a stream of good, underlying returns. Here is a list of a few of
FPL GW 27 Differentials
that you can bring into your teams.
In contrast to the mainstream popular assets, these players are owned by just a small portion of all FPL managers, meaning a points return from them can greatly boost your overall rank and earn you more points than your competition. It needs to be noted that these players are all quite risky, try to take in only a couple for your starting XI.
Kelechi Iheanacho (Forward) – 5.6 million
An injury-riddled Leicester have recently had to look towards their rotation players as replacements for their starting XI. One of these players is the Nigerian striker, Iheanacho. it looks as though he may be making the starting XI quite regularly from now on, and at a price of just 5.6 million, this could be a great bargain. Leicester face Brighton and then Sheffield United, both lower-table teams and Iheanacho could be looking to deal some damage in a similar way to how he did in the last game against Burnley. With an owneship of just a mere 0.3%, a return of Iheanacho could be incredibly valuable to your ranks.
David McGoldrick (Forward) – 5.2 million
Sheffield United’s main man at the front is the Irish McGoldrick. He has tallied 6 goals so far this season, the highest at the club, twice as much as the 2nd top scorer (Sharp – 3). His 43 shots is also highest at Sheffield by quite a bit as well, without a doubt, McGoldrick is a key asset to Sheffield’s attack. They invite Southampton to Bramall Lane in the next game, a team that has been extremely poor recently. Sheffield come off the back of a 1-0 win against Aston Villa, in which McGoldrick scored the winning goal. Despite being at the bottom of the table, they do look to have a good chance in GW27. At an ownership of just 1.7%,, McGoldrick is a great differential, and the incredibly low price reduces the possible risk by quite a bit as well.
Sam Johnstone (Goalkeeper) – 4.5 million
West Brom’s number one has prodced some good underlying numbers recently, tallying 85 points in total, topping the likes of Alisson, Pickford and McCarthy. He is currently running a form of 5.0, with an average of 4.1 saves per game. That equates to roughly 1 extra point per game from saves, which is quite good. West Brom face Newcastle, a team with a huge injury issue in attack. They are without the likes of Saint-Maximin, Wilson and Almiron, which means they are heavily starved of quality in attack. It should be a pretty easy day for Johnstone, and a clean sheet on the cards looks quite likely. His ownership of just 2.4% would make a clean sheet highly valuable to your rank.
Youri Tielemans (Midfielder) – 6.4 million
Leicester’s valuable midfielder, Youri Tielemans, has been putting up some good underlying numbers this season. The 23-year-old has scored 6 and assisted 2, while also playing almost every minute this season. This has earned him a total of 108 points this season. He is seen getting in the box quite a lot, making him quite useful in attacking situations. Leicester come up against Brighton and Sheffield in their next 2 games, and Tielemans, with an ownership of just 3.2%, could be looking to cause some damage.
