Two deals of Henrichs and Hwang to RB Leipzig are confirmed within a day which will see the Benjamin Henrichs and Hee-chan Hwang play for the club from the upcoming season. The German club has confirmed the news on their official website as well as on social media.
Henrichs and Hwang to RB Leipzig: Insight to the Hwang Deal
RB Leipzig has confirmed on their official website that Hee-chan Hwang will join them for 5 years and will stay with the club till June 2025. RB Leipzig will play around 9 million euros to Austrian club RB Salzburg as the cost of the player. There is not any exit clause or buy-back fee mentioned in the contract.
Hee-chan Hwang: Werner’s possible replacement
RB Leipzig’s star player and their all-time top scorer Timo Werner will leave and join English giants Chelsea which is already confirmed. The German was one of the most dependable men of the team. Hee-chan Hwang’s playing style is very much similar to that of Werner. The South Korean is a left inside forward but can easily play as a number 9. He surely needs time to make his impact but Leipzig management thinks he will surely do the job of Timo Werner well. He is also given the No.11 shirt which did belong to Werner before.
Leipzig sporting director Markus Krosche has told that the club is very much delighted to sign him and he will surely perform well for the club.

Hee-chan Hwang: Player to watch
Hee-chan Hwang is a player having great finishing and ball control ability. He has a brilliant vision of passing. He can play as a central leader. He has played 126 matches for RB Salzburg. He scored 45 times and also provided 29 assists. This proves easily how much flexible he is in the upfront. He also played 31 matches for FC Liefering and scored 13 goals also provided 8 assists. He has played 27 matches in Austrian Bundesliga this season where he scored 11 times and provided 12 assists which are 2nd most in the league.
He had a great UEFA Champions League campaign too where he scored 3 goals and provided 5 assists in just 6 matches. His performance against Champion Liverpool at Anfield was amazing in which match he scored once and also provided an assist. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was also impressed by their play and praised them.

Benjamin Henrichs has joined the German club Leipzig on a loan deal from Monaco next season. Leipzig could reportedly make the deal permanent at the end of the next season by paying 20 million euros to Monaco.
