Overview

Norwich City hosts Manchester United at Carrow Road for the next round of FA Cup on Saturday. Here is the exclusive Norwich vs Manchester United Match Preview.

The Canaries are currently out of winning tracks and might end up playing Championship next season whereas a revitalized United side is back to winning tracks by beating Sheffield United 3-0 at Old Trafford and currently fighting for top 4 finish. Norwich beat Tottenham Hotspur on penalties to proceed in the next round. On the other hand, Manchester United beat Championship side Derby County in the last round. Norwich has lost all three of their outings since booking their place in this quarter-final on March 4. Whereas Solksjær’s men are currently running a 13 match undefeated streak.

Manchester United’s primary target for the rest of the season is to finish in top 4 but winning silverwares is in their DNA and so they look forward to win the FA CUP for a record equalling 13th time.On the contrary the Canaries are fighting to avoid relegation as they are currently placed on 19th position which now looks quite inevitable and might end up playing in Championship next season.

Team News

Our Norwich vs Manchester United match preview contains predicted line-ups as well.

Norwich City

Norwich does not have many options to rotate players. Their arguably three best players Teemu Pukka, Emiliano Buendia, Todd Cantwell may start the match. The Canaries are still without injured trio Grant Haney, Christopher Zimmerman, and Sam Byram all of whom will miss the remainder of the campaign to leave Farke with very limited rotation options in defense.

Predicted Lineups

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Norwich vs Manchester United Match Preview.

Krul; Aarons, Godfrey, Klose, Lewis; Trybull, Vrancic; Buendia, Stiepermann, Cantwell; Pukki

Manchester United

Antony Martial becoming the first player to score a hat-trick after Van Persie back in 2013 but he alongside Marcus Rashford may have to make way for Mason Greenwood and Odion Ighalo in the starting XI. After the comeback of Paul Pogba, United got a huge boost as Pogba and Bruno Fernandes combined to produce fluidity in the midfield.

Pogba may be given more time but Bruno may have to sit on the bench. Lingard or Andreas Pereira might pair with Pogba in the midfield. Brandon Williams, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira, Juan Mata, Eric Bailly, Sergio Romero, Diogo Dalot may come back to the squad. Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are still not fit to make it to the squad.

Predicted Lineups

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Romero; Dalot, Bailly, Maguire, Williams; McTominay, Fred; Mata, Lingard, Greenwood; Ighalo
