Thomas Partey: Career at a glance

Now that Thomas Partey joins Arsenal, let’s have a look at his career. Thomas Partey started his career from Atletico Madrid academy. He mainly started his career as a defensive midfielder. Day by day his ball-carrying ability developed. In the 2013/14 season, he went to RCD Mallorca on loan. Finally in season 2014/15 Diego Simeone gave him the opportunity to play for the Atletico Madrid senior team. He amazed everybody with his tremendous abilities. He made a huge impact on Atletico Midfield. Partey won the first silverware of his career UEFA Europa League in the 2017/18 season. He also won the UEFA Super Cup in season 2018/19. He played 188 matches for Atletico Madrid, scored 16 goals, and provided 18 assists. His ability to carry the ball and perfect tackles is absolutely mouthwatering.

Thomas is an amazing player. He could have played for Manchester City [or] Manchester United. We’re talking about a great player here. I rate him very highly. I could say so many things [about Thomas], but with some of them I have to shut up. I’m very happy with Thomas. If he had come from an English or German team, he would be [lauded] but he’s from the academy and he’s just Thomas.
