Uefa Champions League is well known for unexpected match results and the first round of UCL has no difference. Manchester United has beaten last year’s runner-up Paris Saint Germain in an away match, without their star defender Harry Maguire. But most surprisingly Shakhtar Donetsk has beaten mighty Real Madrid, when they scored 3 goals within first 45 minutes against Los Blancos.

Now we have Gameweek 2 (GW2), where many teams, who has grabbed an easy win already, will face a tougher opponent and vice-versa. So for any UCL fantasy manager, UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide is a must-read article. It is important to change the team accordingly so that the team contains those important players to score better. Here is our exclusive UCL Fantasy GW 2 guide, where you will get all the information about it.

Must-Have Players:

Mo Salah (Midfielder) – Liverpool F.C. (11.5 million)

Current UEFA Champions League champions grabbed a narrow victory at Ajax on Gameweek 1 and will be keen to build on that when the Danish debutants come to Anfield. The absence of Virgil Van Dijk has weakened Liverpool defence and in order to nullify that weakness their attackers have to take extra load and for that Salah, one of the most reliable goalscorers in Europe, will be the best person.

UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide: Mo Salah

The Egyptian has hit plenty of goals in the Premier League and it seems only a matter of time before he opens his UCL account for the season. For the cost of 11.5 million, Salah can be a great option for a UCL fantasy manager and he is a prime contender to be the captain and with this, you can rank higher in your league. Mo Salah is our first suggestion in UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide.

Kingsley Coman (Midfielder) – F.C. Bayern Munich (8 million)

UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide: Kingsley Coman

Coman was the star of the show for Bayern Munich on Matchday 1, as he has a contribution of two goals and an assist in the 4-0 win against Atletico Madrid in Munich. That performance brought him 16 fantasy points in GW 1, not only the most of any midfielder but also the second-highest total overall. Coman could be in line for another start on Matchday 2 at Lokomotiv Moskva. Coman can be lethal again in Gameweek 2 as Bayern Munich will face Lokomotiv Moskva, which is a comparatively weak side with respect to them. So, at the price tag of 8 million, Coman is a great choice for a UCL fantasy manager.

Sergio Ramos (Defender) – Real Madrid C.F. (6 million)

For many years, Sergio Ramos has been one of the most reliable UCL Fantasy point-scorers from defence and this season looks set to be no different. Ramos provides not just defensive stability but also a significant goal threat having scored twice in UEFA Champions League 2019-20. For his injury, he was not in the squad in first UCL game of Real Madrid, but his recent performance in El Clasico at Camp Nou again proved his importance in Los Blancos defence.

UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide: Sergio Ramos

The Royal Whites will face Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany. It is no wonder that Skipper will be an automatic choice in this match, and as everyone knows that with Sergio Ramos, Real Madrid is a different team altogether. Moreover, he is the main penalty taker of Real Madrid from 2018-19 season, so there is a high chance that Ramos will score a goal in this match. So at the price tag of 6.5 million, Ramos is an obvious suggestion in our UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide.

Keylor Navas (Goalkeeper) – PSG (5.5 million)

UCL Fantasy GW 2 Guide: Keylor Navas

It is proven from 2016 that Keylor Navas and UCL are a great combination. PSG recorded 7 clean sheets from 11 games in last season’s UCL and Navas played a pivotal role in his side’s run to the final. Though he could not secure a clean sheet on the first match in a 1-2 loss at home to Red Devils, he did still manage to record four saves over the course of the game. That’s why Navas is sure to be a popular asset of PSG in Matchday 2 trip to Istanbul Başakşehir. We consider Navas a great option in our UCL Fantasy GW 2 guide.

In order to include the above-mentioned players, you have to exclude some of your players first. For that, it is important to know which player is injured currently. in our UCL Fantasy GW 2 guide, Here is a brief list of some injured players, which was probably in your squad for first game week.

Unavailable Players:

Cristiano Ronaldo (Juventus)

The king of UCL was expected to be back against his old rival but he was tested Covid-19 positive for the second time and it is almost impossible to be in squad for this match.

Serge Gnabry (Bayern Munich)

Phillippe Coutinho (Barcelona)

Alphonso Davies (Bayern Munich)

This attacking left-back was an instrumental part of Bayern’s tremendous success of last season. Currently he is not available for the next game due to an ankle injury. he is expected to come back after a month later.

Jules Kounde (Atletico Madrid)

Kounde is tested Covid-19 positive and will not be included in the team list for the next match.
