With half of the Premier League season is over and the table has started to take shape, Fantasy Premier League managers will now be thinking of re-building their initial Fantasy Squads ahead of FPL Gameweek 21. The roster of players to choose from is huge, but with the 100 million budget, you will need to make your choices carefully. Amongst the roster, there are some individuals that have proved their capabilities in the previous seasons with stellar performances. This is a list of those players, it is a good idea to have a few of these as your marquee signings as your FPL players in your 2020-21 squads ahead of the FPL Gameweek 21.
We are here with the Watchlist series ahead of Gameweek 21 to identify some of the players that caught the eye over the last few weekends. Here are some of the players in our FPL Gameweek 21 Watchlist who are possible options to transfer into the Fantasy team over the coming game weeks.
Lucas Digne (Defender) 6 Million
After returning from injury he has provided 1 assist in his last 2 games with a total of 6 assists in 12 matches in this season. Digne has delivered a total of 75 crosses in this season and landed 8 crosses in his last match against Leicester City which shows his attacking threat in opponents’ half. Another important thing about him is, He has played as a left midfielder wearing the arm-band in his last game. If he keeps on playing as a midfielder then it will be very helpful for FPL managers who take him in the FPL squad.
Antonio Rudiger (Defender) 4.5 Million
With the new German manager, Rudiger might be Chelsea’ s 1st choice CB. Therefore, it’s a great chance for the FPL manager to bag a decent CB for only 4.5 million who might provide several numbers of Clean sheets for upcoming games. Chelsea will face only 3 strong opponents in their next 14 game weeks and that run includes Burnley, New Castle, Fulham, Brighton, and West Borm.
Harvey Barnes (Midfielder) 6.8 Million
With 2 goals and 2 assists in his last five games, it’s pretty decent returns for the Leicester man. Barnes has landed 16 shots and 9 of them are from inside of the box. He has also created 3 big chances during that period of time. Barnes has an average of 6.2 FPL points/game in his last 5 games and involved in almost half of Leicester City’s goals. The fixture for Leicester is quite favorable as they will face only 2 strong opponents in their next 15 games. So, if you can’t/don’t want to go for Maddison then Barnes is a good deal for you.
Ollie Watkins (Forward) 6.2 Million
With an average of 4.9 FPL points/game in the last 6 games, Watkins’ stats are quite impressive to include him in the watchlist. Watkins has taken 12 shots and 10 of them are inside of the box and successfully converted 2 of them. He has also created 5 big chances in his last 5 gameweeks. Aston Villa will face only one strong opponent in the next 10 upcoming gameweeks. This favorable run will include Shef. United, Fulham, New Castle, and Brighton which increases the chance of scoring goals for Watkins.
