With the new Premier League season just around the corner, Fantasy Premier League managers will now be thinking of building their initial Fantasy Squad. The roster of players to choose from is huge, but with the 100 million budget, you will need to make your choices carefully. Amongst the roster, there are some individuals that have proved their capabilities in the previous seasons with stellar performances. This is a list of those players, it is a good idea to have a few of these as your marquee signings as your initial FPL players in your 2020-21 squads ahead of the FPL Gameweek 12.

We are here with the Watchlist series ahead of Gameweek 12 to identify some of the players that caught the eye over the last weekend. Here are some of the players in our FPL Gameweek 12 Watchlist who are possible options to transfer into the Fantasy team over the coming game weeks

Harry Kane (Forward) 10.9 million

Harry Kane
FPL Gameweek 12: Harry Kane

Mourinho’s 1st choice Stricker, who has a textbook performance against Arsenal in the north London derby, linked up with Son and has scored 2 goals in the match. Son has single touch in the opposition box whereas Kane has three. Over the last three weeks, the England captain has 6.8 points per game even after facing 3 big teams Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal in that time. Spurs are going to face Crystal Palace up next in GW12.

Timo Werner (Forward) 9.5 million

Chelsea came from behind and won the match 3-1 with one assist from Werner. He has scored his 1st premier league goal in game-week 5 against Southampton after that he has proved himself on several occasions. Werner is the only non-penalty taker player who has an average of 6.3 points per game since game week 5. Chelsea will avoid the current top six teams in the next five game week while meeting Everton, Wolves, and West Ham next.

James Ward-Prowse (Midfielder) 6.2 Million

James Ward-Prowse
FPL Gameweek 12: ward-Prowse

Looking at the current run of Southampton, they have won four out of six games along with one draw and standing at 5th position on the league table. During this run, Ward-Prowse has scored 4 goals and provided 3 assists with an average of 8.2 points per game. He looks to be in sparkling form while he will be facing [next matches ] Sheffield Utd, Arsenal, Man City, Fulham, and west ham up next.

Eric Dier (Defender) 5.0 million

FPL Gameweek 12: Eric Dier

After the win in the north London derby, Spurs has kept five clean sheets out of their six games. Dier has kept 5.5 points per game over that period of time. Spurs have conceded only one goal in the last six games which are fewer than every other team in the league. As the numbers are showing we can hope Mourinho’s Spurs can keep us their good run in upgoing gameweeks.
