Team News in our Levante vs Atletico Madrid Match Preview
Our detailed match preview contains predicted line-ups for Atletico Madrid and Levante.
Atletico Madrid
Los Rojiblancos had a shaky start for this season in La Liga. But they seemed to be back in track with back to back wins including dominating 5-0 victory against Osasuna and 1-0 win against Valladolid. They currently stand 4th in Laliga with 52 points. With Thomas Partey, Lemar and Saul in the midfield along with Costa and Felix upfront they have an edge over Levante. Though they will miss Sime Vrsaljko and Felipe in defence, Savic and Tripper can fill in easily for them.
ATM is expected to start with their regular 4-4-2 formation. Simeone could replace Morata with Diego Costa up front. Rest of the team might remain unchanged.
Predicted lineup
Formation: 4-4-2
Atletico Madrid : Oblak, Trippier, Giminez, Savic, Lodi, Koke, Partey, Saul, Lemar, Felix, Costa.
Levante
Levante is having a pretty decent season as they were unbeaten after restart of La Liga. But it will be very tough for them to bring points against ATM. They will mainly rely on Jose Campana in midfield with Rodger and Mayoral upfront to pull out this important fixture. There’s also an interesting fact for the home side. The home side is in 11th position with 38 points. If they can win their next two matches there’s a chance that they would enter the top 10 which will be their best league standing since 2013-14. Surely this will work as an extra motivation for Levante players.
Paco Lopez’s side can also go for a 4-4-2 formation. Ruben Rochina can join in after a 1 match suspension instead of Enis Bradhi. Coke also can play as an RB instead of Carlos Clerc.
Predicted Lineup
Formation: 4-4-2
Levante: Aitor, Coke, Bruno, Vezo, Tono, Campana, Vukcevic, Melero, Rochina ,Rodger, Mayoral.

Head To Head record

Players to watch
Levante: Jose Campana and Rodger will be the key players for Levante in midfield and forward-line respectively.
Atletico Madrid: Diego Costa, Joao Felix and Saul Niguez will be the players to watch for Atletico Madrid.
Predicted scoreline: 1-1
Atlético have won one at the Frogs since the 2010s began. Levante have shown up in big games this year, having scored dramatic late draws against European contenders Valencia and Sevilla over the past 10 days. Paco López’s side has played high-octane football for much of the season, beat Real Madrid and Barcelona at home, and nearly snatched a point at the Wanda Metropolitano back in January. It seems to me that the two teams will end up sharing the points for today’s game.
Final thoughts
ATM will try to continue their winning streak against Levante who will try to achieve their best position in La Liga since 2013-14.
Though a draw will also be a good result for them.
