Here is how the current FPL Gameweek 18 Free Hit Draft looks like.
Goal Keepers
Newcastle faced the Sheffield United side that has scored just once in the last four gameweeks. So Darlow lines up between the sticks as usual. However, there is a little bit of a risk with him now that Dubravka has returned to fitness but Steve Bruce, the manager of Newcastle United, recently stated that Darlow might be rested against the Gunners, handing Dubravka his opportunity again. But after a string g outstanding performances under the goal, it will really be tough to bench him.
Defenders
John Stones has formed a great partnership with Ruben Dias at center back over the last seven gameweeks where Manchester City have kept the league-best five clean sheets. They’ve conceded league-low tallies of two goals three big chances where they had 12 shots on target and 34 shots in the box over that run. Cancelo ranks fourth amongst PL defenders for assist attempts throughout the season behind only Creswell, Trent Alexander Arnold, and Robertson. Arsenal ‘s recent resurgence has seen Kieran Tierney amassing 28 points in the last four game weeks with two clean sheets two assists and a goal his 11 attempted assists over that spell can only be bettered by short amongst defenders while only Dallas has taken more touches in the opposition’s box.
Midfielders
Bruno Fernandes , Son-Heung-Min , and Marcus Rashford are the only three players to keep their places in the free hit lineup after Liverpool ‘s defeat to Southampton. Manchester United now has the chance to go top of the league if they pick up a point or full 3 points at Burnley. The Red Devils have produced league-best tallies of 11 goals 18 big chances and 30 shots on target over the last four gameweeks. Playing in a false nine role, Kevin De Bruyne scored and assisted against Chelsea in the last game. Over the last six-game weeks Elgazi and Fernandes are the only midfielders with so many big chances to their name. Saka has picked up two goals and two assists over the last three gameweeks to average nine points per game . No fpl midfielder could go better than his seven shots in the box over that period with only Rashford and Elgazi able to match that figure.
Forwards
Aston Villa won’t be an easy game for Tottenham but we’ve seen Harry Kane and Son work together so well all season and an opportunity to own the pair surely has to be taken. Only Watkins and Bamford have attempted more shots on target than the England captain over the last four games. Moreover, Callum Wilson has been a talisman figure for Newcastle this season with direct involvement in 12 of their 18 goals. Sheffield United have shipped 11 goals in the last six-game weeks with only Leeds United, Crystal Palace, and West Brom fairing worse.
