However, the name of the next PES title is yet to be confirmed. Konami announced on their official website that they think it is finally time to improve the standard of their most successful franchise PES, and the devs are working on a next-gen PES title. The new PES title is being developed with an updated engine that will ‘dazzle’ the players with improvements to all aspects of the game. More realistic player models & animations, enhanced physics, photorealistic visuals and much more is in store for PES fans all over the world, according to Konami. This will bring more joy for console players the game focuses on improved myClub and Master League content.

When will the new PES title release?
Konami announced that they are aiming to begin the beta testing for the new PES title sometime around mid-2021 , so that’s almost a year later. The game is also planned for a release later that year .
However, the name of the next-gen PES title is yet to be confirmed, but if it follows the traditions like past PES titles, it should be named something like ‘eFootball PES 2022’ , as it releases in 2021.
About this year’s PES update
As the devs are focused completely towards the next PES title scheduled to launch next year, Konami had to cut short their plans for this year’s PES update. This year’s PES 2021 update will arrive in the form of a “ season update “, which will be similar to the various datapack updates released over the year. However, Konami also said they are bringing enough content in this year’s PES to keep fans devoted to the game until the next PES title launches.
Also, Konami announced that this year’s PES will launch at an affordable anniversary price as this marks the 25th anniversary since the game first launched. The game will also include several bonuses. Previously, Konami announced PES Veteran Bonus for PES 2020 players who upgrade to the next PES after this year’s season update.
Konami left us teasing a snippet from the next PES title, showcasing Barca’s PES ambassador Leo Messi stepping on the Camp Nou showing off the new jersey which just launched yesterday.
