Here is our exclusive Spain vs Germany match preview. Spain and Germany, undoubtedly two of the most glorious footballing nations, go head to head for the ultimate clash of Group 4 in League A of the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League. The equation is simple – The Winner reaches the Semi-Finals as the group toppers. However, even a draw might just work out for Germany, as they might then end at 10 points, which is unachievable by any other team in that group. Spain, after dropping 2 points against Switzerland, needs to win this, to advance to the semis.

Team News and Predicted Lineups

Since it is a Do or Die ,match it’s highly likely both the managers would play their important players , as far as they are available. The last time these two sides met, they shared the spoils of the war by battling our a 1-1 draw.

Spain

Goalkeeper De Gea was rested the last match against Switzerland, so he might play this match. With players like Ansu Fati, Jose Gaya, Jesus Navas, injured, Enrique might field the same team which played against Switzerland, with a few changes in certain positions.

Germany

Toni Kroos, after a suspension in the last match against Ukraine, is likely to start in this match, in place of Robin Koch. Missing the likes of Havertz, Kimmich, Hoffman, Schulz, Halstenberg due to injury doesn’t seem to bother the Germans much, given their squad depth. Werner and Sane are likely to join Gnabry in the forward line, with Goretzka and Gundogan accompanying Kroos in the midfield. Low is expected to keep the rest of the team unaltered, for this vital match.
